About this Course

In Microsoft Access 2016 Level 3 students will learn advanced features of Access. Topics covered include querying with SQL, writing advanced queries, working with macros, importing, exporting and linking objects, and performing database maintenance.

Audience Profile

This course is for the individual whose job responsibilities include working with heavily related tables; creating advanced queries, forms, and reports; writing macros to automate common tasks; and performing general database maintenance.  This course will also assist students preparing for the Microsoft Office Specialist exam for Microsoft Access 2016.

At Course Completion

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Write basic SQL statements
  • Write advanced queries to analyze and summarize data
  • Create and revise Microsoft Access 2016 macros
  • Import, export and link objects

Prerequisites
